Sustainability
At Oliver's we take the issue of sustainability seriously.
We focus here on cod & haddock,
because together they comprise over 90% of our fish sales. If you'd
like more information on any of the other species we serve please
contact us or ask to see our information card in the shop.
The cod & haddock on which we
depend is not endangered & is both sustainable and scientifically
proven so, coming from the clear, cold waters of the North Atlantic
around Iceland, Norway & the Barents Sea, where stocks are at
record levels.
The best fish is filleted &
frozen on-board state of the art fishing vessels within four hours of
being caught, so top eating quality is guaranteed.
